Miss Universe Italy 2024 is Glelany Cavalcante

Glelany Cavalcante was crowned Miss Universe Italy 2024 during the national competition held on September 18 at Villa Cafiero in San Fernando di Puglia. The 30-year-old model and entrepreneur originally from Brazil bested 20 other contestants to win the title. She became the first Brazilian and married woman to become Miss Universe Italy. Giada Folcia and Marika Nardozi were named the first and second runners-up while Rachele Perelli and Catalina Jacob rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Completing the Top 10 were Carlotta Maggiorana, Federica Ligato, Angela Etiope, Veronica Siniscalchi, and Carolina Trombatore. The new Miss Universe Italy succeeds last year's winner Carmen Panepinto and will now prepare to represent Italy at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Miss World Italy 2024 is Lucrezia Mangilli from Lombardy

Lucrezia Mangilli bested 24 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Italy 2024 on Sunday, June 16 at at Ecoresort Le Sirenè - Caroli Hotels in Gallipoli. The 23-year-old fashion model from Lombardia succeeds last year's winner Chiara Esposito and will represent Italy at the 73rd Miss World festival. Elena Lot from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Pamela Cesario Greggio from Veneto were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Manuela Paganini and Mariagrazia Ferro rounded out the Top 5 finalists while the rest of the Top 10 were Amira Infanto, Siria Gigliarano, Caterina Gaiardelli, Martina Avagliano, and Elisa De Rossi. From 50 beauties, only the Top 25 have been officially selected to move on to the upcoming final of Miss Mondo Italia 2024 (Miss World Italy). The grand final will be held next Sunday, June 16 at Ecoresort Le Sirenè - Caroli Hotels in Gallipoli. Last year's winner, Chiara Esposito, will crown her successor at the end of the event. The 24-year-old beauty representing the region of Marche holds a degree in electronics engineering and currently pursuing her master's in biorobotics. Andrea Pepi and Filomena Venuso were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Marcella Marlene Casillo and Camilla Franchetto were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. The details for this year's Miss Universe Italy national final have been announced. Miss Universe Italy 2023 will take place live from 8:30 p.m. (GMT+1) on Sunday, October 8 at Lo Smeraldo in Canosa, Puglia. Hosts of the evening will be Italian singer and TV personality Daniele Battaglia together with Sportitalia presenter Fabrizia Santarelli. Italian actor Enzo Salvi together with Vittorio Marino and Luvi will be guests on the much-awaited night of glamour and entertainment. Former Miss Universe Italy Viviana Vizzini will also grace the event with outgoing queen Virginia Stablum who will pass the crown to her successor. Virginia Stablum, representing Trentino Alto Adige, bested 19 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Italy 2022 on Sunday, September 18 at the Lo Smeraldo in Canosa di Puglia. The 24-year-old model and influencer is no stranger to the limelight, having joined the dating show "Uomini e Donne" in 2018. She will now prepare to represent Italy at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in January. Michela Russo of Sicilia and Chiara Davanzo of Friuli Venezia Giulia were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Elena Izzo of Liguria and Sofia Ferraris of Lombardia rounded out the Top 5. Valle d'Aosta representative, Rebecca Arnone, was crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2022 (Miss World Italy 2022) in a glittering competition held on Saturday, June 18 at Villa dei Fiori in Gallipoli. The 19-year-old model and biological sciences student at the University of Turin succeeds last year's winner Claudia Motta. Apart from modeling since the age of 15, she enjoys spending her free time with her closest friends, painting, and writing. She loves listening to metal-rock music and is a fan of the Italian rock band Måneskin. Composing short stories is what she considers her greatest passion. Rebecca is expected to represent Italy at the 71st Miss World pageant, whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Italy has yet to win the Miss World pageant since its first participation in 1954. The country's highest placement was first runner-up (second place) with Giorgia Palmas in 2000. Miss Mondo Italia 2021 is Claudia Motta

Claudia Motta was crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2021 (Miss World Italy) in a glittering national competition held last September 26 at Villa dei Fiori in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old law student from Rome bested 24 other beauties from across her country to succeed Miss Mondo Italia 2019, Adele Sammartino. Lucia La Paglia and Martina Ballardini were respectively named the first and second runners-up while Isabella Marchetti and Aurora Vella completed the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss World Italy is a keen classical and contemporary dancer, which she has practiced since she was a child, and attended the National Dance Academy in Rome. She will now prepare to represent Italy at the 70th Miss World pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. “It is a privilege to represent the colors of my nation and a great responsibility to carry on the "Autism On The Road Project"  that I will present at Miss World.
