Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 is Chidimma Adetshina

Miss Taraba, Chidimma Adetshina, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, August 31 at Eko Hotels & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. The 23-year-old beauty from Gauteng, South Africa, bested 24 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Nigeria at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. Paula Ezendu of Anambra State was the first runner-up and received the Miss Supranational Nigeria 2024 title. She will head to Poland to participate in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. The second runner-up, Peace Ayegbidun of Ondo, was named Miss Lush 2024 while the representatives of Rivers, Nyekachi Douglas, and Edo, Edeifo Aikhuele rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Last year's winner, Ugochi Mitchel Ukachukwu Ihezue, crowned her successor at the end of the event. The new Miss Universe Nigeria was born in South Africa to Nigerian parents. She previously joined Miss South Africa 2024 but had to withdraw from the competition

Miss Earth Nigeria 2024 is Shuntell Ezomo

Shuntell Ezomo was crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2024 during the national competition held on Sunday, July 21 at the Palacio Event Centre in Port Harcourt, River State. The 25-year-old model, media personality and YouTuber from Edo State will represent Nigeria at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant. She succeeds last year's titleholder Shelly Usman. Igbele Blessing of Delta, Cynthia Penelope of Enugu, Favour James of Abuja, and Mary Agioboh of AkwaIbom were crowned Miss Earth Nigeria Air, Water, Fire and Eco-Tourism, respectively. The 24th Miss Earth competition is expected to be held in Southeast Asia. The Miss Earth organization has yet to officially announce its final date and venue. Nigeria debuted at Miss Earth in 2002 and has yet to win the crown. The country's highest placement was Top 10 in 2019 with Modupe Susan Garland. Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 is Ugochi Ihezue

Miss Imo, Ugochi Ihezue, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 on Sunday, September 10 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The 26-year-old visual artist and women's advocate with a master's degree in business administration will represent Nigeria at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Another winner, Zamfara's Sectra Okundaye was crowned Miss Supranational Nigeria 2023 and will next year go to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2024. The runner-up was the representative of Ekiti, Princess Agunbiade while Lagos, Tofe Olagoke, and Anambra, Paula Ezendu were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Following the physical screening held last Friday at Silverbird Galleria in Abuja, the 37 contestants vying for Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 have been officially unveiled. The selection panel consisted of award-winning international journalist and TV host Keturah King; entrepreneur and public speaker Kiki Chiori; and an award-winning presenter, host, digital and media strategist Bridget Chigbufue. This year's standalone pageant for Miss Universe Nigeria is a spin-off from the renowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant organized by Silverbird Communications. The next Miss Universe Nigeria, to be crowned next month by the reigning queen Hannah Iribhogbe, will go on to compete in Miss Universe 2023 this November in El Salvador. Tiana Michaels was crowned Queen of South East Nigeria 2023 in a glittering event held on Saturday, July 15 at Gardenia Hotel in Independence Layout, Enugu. The 23-year-old entrepreneur, event planner and coordinator bested 12 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds Queen of South East Nigeria 2021 Achalla Amarachukwu. Nyekachi Douglas joins Miss Universe Nigeria 2023

Former Miss World Nigeria Nyekachi Douglas has officially applied to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 pageant. Her participation was confirmed when her official entry video to the competition was posted on both her and Miss Universe Nigeria Instagram accounts. "I just want people to be able to say I did it. I gave myself the opportunity to explore this dream whether I succeed at it or not. And I can't think of a better platform to amplify my voice in these pursuits than the Miss Universe platform," she said in the video. The Beauty of Africa International Pageant (BAIP) organization officially announced Zuleihat Yusuf Oyarazi as Nigeria's representative for Miss Teen International 2023 in Cambodia. Prior to her quest to become the first Nigerian and African beauty to win the international title, the Kogi-born model was declared fifth runner-up during the 15th BAIP finals in Abuja last year. Ada Eme, a 24-year-old model and event planner representing Abia, was proclaimed the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2022 in a glittering national competition held on Friday, October 21 at Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos. The new queen bested 36 other contestants to win the 34th MBGN edition and clinch the title of Miss World Nigeria 2022. Montana Onose Felix was named Miss Universe Nigeria 2022 after placing first runner-up during the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2022 pageant on Friday, October 21 at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos. The 21-year-old model and actress, currently based in Texas, represented the Nigerian State of Edo in the 34th MBGN edition.
