Costa Rica's very own Fernanda Fernández was crowned Miss Orb International 2024 on Monday, September 30 in San José, Costa Rica. The 23-year-old fashion model bested 14 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds Camila Canto from Mexico. Andreina Quintero from Venezuela and Rebecca Drouin from Canada were first and second runners-up, respectively. Xiadani Saucedo from Mexico and Allison Ojeda from Puerto Rico rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The rest of the Top 10 were from Bolivia, Anabel Guzman, Colombia, Maria Camila Medrano, El Salvador, Eva Barrera, Guatemala, Verónica Mejía and USA, Azalia Arredondo. A 22-year-old model and aspiring actress from Mexico, Camila Canto, was crowned Miss Orb International 2022 during the inaugural edition of the international pageant held on Tuesday, August 30 in San José, Costa Rica. Nicaragua's Mariela Cerros was named first runner-up while Venezuela's Grecia Bitchachi finished as second runner-up. The representatives from Peru, Flavia Montes, and Colombia, Luisa Gonzalez were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 10 were Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Denmark, and the USA. "We made it Mexico," the newly crowned Miss Orb International wrote in a statement on social media after winning her title. "Thank you for the support and for being my support in this adventure my beautiful people. There is no doubt that dreams come true when one works and fights for them. Proud to have raised my country and everything it represents. I love you. Never stop dreaming," she added. Camila is no stranger to pageantry
