Tarlac's Jasmine Omay appointed Universal Woman Philippines 2025

Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June. Her predecessor  Maria Gigante from Cebu became the first Filipina to win the title of Universal Woman last year in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. "From the Pearl of the Orient Sea, I will be flying high to the Universal stage. It is my pride to embody the grace, strength, and power of a Universal Woman," shared the new Universal Woman Philippines online. "Join me as we embrace this journey to show the power of a Filipina who dreams, leads, and inspires," she added. Miss Universe Philippines 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the 6th edition of the annual Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held this May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Sixty-nine contestants representing various municipalities, cities, and provinces of the Philippines will compete for a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The contestants were officially revealed in an official press presentation held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City last month. This year's competition will be the first edition under the directorship of former titleholder and Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up Ariella Arida. The fierce batch of contestants includes former Reina Hispanoamericana winner Teresita Ssen Marquez and Miss International Philippines Maria Ahtisa Manalo. Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 is Dia Maté of the Philippines

Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Cavite became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Teresita Ssen Marquez who won in 2017. She also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Her costume "Banaag" by Ehrran Montoya was inspired by her country's baroque churches recognized in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Sofia Férnandez of Venezuela was named Virreina while Sharon Gamara of Colombia, Carolina Barroso of Spain, Nikita Palma of Peru, Julia de Castro of Brazil, and Zuzanna Balonek of Poland were the runners-up. Former Reina Hispanoamericana Teresita Marquez joins Miss Universe Philippines 2025

Former Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder Teresita Marquez is set to represent the city of Muntinlupa at the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant. Popularly known as Winwyn Marquez, the Filipino actress and mother won her country's first-ever Reina Hispanoamericana winner in 2017 in Bolivia. Born in Parañaque City to actor-politician parents Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno, Winwyn first joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2015 and then Miss World Philippines in 2017 where she claimed the first Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas title. Former Miss Philippines Earth Yllana Marie Aduana will represent the municipality of Siniloan, Laguna, at the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant. The 26-year-old medical technology graduate and environmental education advocate was previously crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2023 in Toledo, Cebu. After winning the title, Yllana represented the Philippines at Miss Earth 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, made the Top 4 among 85 contestants, and reigned as Miss Earth Air. The Miss Universe Organization has officially announced Chelsea Manalo of the Philippines as the Best in National Costume winner at Miss Universe 2024. Completing the Top 3 finalists for the special award were Emilia Dides from Chile (second place) and Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen from Vietnam (third place). Chelsea's national costume "Hiraya" meaning "the fruit of one's hopes, dreams, and aspirations" was voted the ultimate winner among 125 costumes showcased on this year's Miss Universe stage. Created by Filipino fashion designer Manny Halasan, the winning costume was a homage to the Philippines' diverse history and culture. It depicted the complex yet rich relationship between the Philippines and Mexico. Christine Juliane Opiaza was crowned Miss Grand Philippines 2024 on Sunday, September 29 at the  Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, Metro Manila. The 25-year-old host, model and runway coach from Castillejos, Zambales beat 19 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Nikki de Moura of Cagayan de Oro and will now represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand this October. Sophia Bianca Santos of Pampanga was named Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and will go to the Universal Woman 2025 pageant. Juvyel Anne Saluta of the Philippines was crowned Miss Elite 2024 in a glittering event held on Friday, September 13 in Soma Bay, a coastal resort on the Red Sea in Egypt. The 20-year-old model beat over 30 other competitors to win the international title for the first time in the history of her country. She also bagged the Best Smile award. The 23-year-old beauty from Baguio City was crowned by her predecessor Gwendolyne Fourniol of Negros Occidental.
