Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon. The 24-year-old special needs education graduate bested 28 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2024 later this year. After weeks of activities, 29 eco beauties from across the Philippines will compete tonight for the coveted title of Miss Philippines Earth 2024. Hosted by James Deakin and former Miss Earth Karla Henry, the much-awaited grand coronation night will be held in Talakag, Bukidnon. The final round of voting for Best Bikini at Miss Earth 2023 closed with Philippines' Yllana Marie Aduana being announced as the winner. This is the first time for the beautiful and joyful city in the province of Cebu to host the national pageant.
