Thai superstar Win Metawin to perform at Miss Universe Philippines 2024

Global celebrity and Thai superstar Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn will be performing at the grand coronation night of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant. Win came to prominence in 2020 for his acting debut in a leading role in a Thai romantic comedy series "2gether: The Series" with Bright Vachirawit. He recently became the first Thai and Southeast Asian to be appointed House Ambassador for the American luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. In March, he bagged the AFA Rising Star Award at the 17th Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong where he also premiered his first international movie "Under Parallel Skies" directed by Filipino director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo. The swimsuit competition of the Miss Philippines Earth 2024 pageant was held on Saturday, May 4 at the Malitbog Cultural Center in Malitbog, Bukidnon. Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur won the gold medal while Ira Patricia Malaluan of Batangas City and Sam Samara of Makati City were the silver and bronze medalists. The 24th edition of the annual Miss Philippines Earth pageant with the theme "Heritage" will culminate on Saturday, May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon. The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 talent competition was held on Sunday, May 5 at Northern Highlands Resort in Buru-un, Iligan City. Hosted by former Miss Earth Karla Henry and Mister Continental International Tourism 2018 Erik Karcher, the event showcased the incredible talents of this year's contestants. Kristel Anne Codas of Iligan City bagged the gold medal while the beauties from Baungon, Bukidnon, Chaoncy Rich Azucena, and Davao City, Reca Mae Abueva were awarded the silver and bronze, respectively. Jeannie Mai to host Miss Universe Philippines 2024 final show

The Miss Universe Philippines organization has just announced Jeannie Mai as one of the hosts of the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 final show. Jeannie will join former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA and Filipino actor Alden Richards in hosting the highly anticipated event. The Emmy award-winning TV personality was a backstage correspondent for the Miss Universe pageant in 2011, 2012, and 2013 then co-hosted the 2022 and 2023 editions. This year's Miss Universe Philippines grand coronation night will happen on May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. The Top 5 contestants for the up close and personal interview challenge of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition have been announced. According to the Miss Universe Philippines organization, the finalists for the challenge were determined purely by public votes via the official app of the pageant. The Top 5 contestants were Patricia Bianca Tapia of Hawaii, Alexie Mae Brooks of Iloilo City, Stephanie Faye Gerona of Quirino, Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province, and Christi Lynn McGarry of Taguig City. Only one winner, to be revealed during the upcoming finals, will automatically earn a place as a semifinalist. Miss Universe Philippines 2024: Meet Top 3 national costume competition winners

The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 national costume competition was held last April 28 at Provincial Capitol Gym in Sultan Kudarat. Out of 53 colorful and spectacular costumes inspired by the rich flora and fauna of the Philippines as this year's theme, only three winners have been announced. The winning costumes were from Alexie Mae Brooks of Iloilo, Janet Hammond of Southern California, and Tamara Ocier of Tacloban. They each received P100,000 in cash. The Top 5 finalists for the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Swimsuit Challenge have been officially announced on Sunday, May 5 online. Determined entirely by fan votes were Deanna Marie Maté of Cavite, Patricia Bianca Tapia of Hawaii, Alexie Mae Brooks of Iloilo, Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province, and Janet Hammond of Southern California. To recall, the swimsuit challenge was held last April 20 in Boracay and the top-voted winner will automatically earn a spot at this year's finals. The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear Competition was held on Thursday, April 25 in Borongan City, the capital of the province of Eastern Samar. Sam Samara of Makati City bagged the gold medal while the representatives of Iligan City, Kristel Codas, and Matanao, Davao Del Sur, Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche were awarded silver and bronze, respectively. Sophia Nicole Arkangel was crowned Miss International Queen Philippines 2024 in a glittering event on Sunday, April 14 at Aliw Theater in Pasay City. The 25-year-old beauty representing Laguna succeeds last year's winner Lars Pacheco. She will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss International Queen 2024 in Pattaya, Thailand. The Miss Universe Philippines Organization has officially announced the final date and venue for this year's Miss Universe Philippines competition. In a post on social media, the organization revealed that the coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2024 will take place on May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This year's event will mark the fifth edition of the national pageant headed by former titleholder Shamcey Supsup-Lee (Miss Universe Philippines 2011 and Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up). Tickets for the highly anticipated final show will be available to the general public starting April 8. More than 50 women from across the country are currently vying for the national title and the chance to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico. Maria Gigante, representing the Philippines, was crowned Universal Woman 2024 in a glittering competition held on Friday, March 22 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The 30-year-old host, model, and entrepreneur hailing from Cebu, Philippines, edged out over 40 other contestants to win the international title. Christi McGarry to represent Taguig at Miss Universe Philippines 2024

Christi McGarry, the former first runner-up of Miss Intercontinental 2015, has been officially appointed as Miss Universe Philippines - Taguig 2024. The 33-year-old Filipino-American model and TV personality will proudly represent Taguig in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2024 competition. Christi was a fellow contestant of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in Binibining Pilipinas 2015. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015 and had the honor of representing the Philippines in the Miss Intercontinental 2015 pageant held in Germany. Making history, she became the first Filipina to represent her country twice in the same international pageant. In addition to finishing as the first runner-up, she also received the Miss Intercontinental Continental Queen of Asia and Oceania award.
