The reigning Miss Supranational, Lalela Mswane, touched down at Gaborone's Sir Seretse Khama International Airport for her 2-day visit to Botswana. It is the first time a Miss Supranational winner is visiting the country. Welcomed by a group of traditional dancers and the 12 finalists competing for the Miss Supranational Botswana 2023 title, Mswane excitedly joined in with the dancers to the delight of the onlookers. "I am overwhelmed by the warmth and the beauty of the people and I feel quite overwhelmed to see such strong, accomplished women sitting in front of me today. For the first time since winning Miss South Africa in October last year in Cape Town and competing at Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat two months ago, Lalela Mswane has finally touched down her province KwaZulu-Natal for a homecoming. The 24-year-old beauty received a warm welcome upon her arrival at King Shaka International Airport last Friday, February 4. Her busy schedules included a welcome ceremony at KSIA, attending the class of 21 Matric Awards, and visiting the Inanda Newtown Comprehensive School for the handing over of a renovated consumer studies classroom. For interested applicants, you may submit your entries until midnight of June 24 and here are the easy steps to follow on how to apply: 1. Complete a few questions via online entry form. 2. Submit 2 photographs in colour (1x head & shoulders & 1 x full body). 3. Post your introduction video on social media to complete your entry. Tell who you are and why you should be #MissSA2021? 4. After you posted your 45 seconds video on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter, copy and paste your video post link in your online entry form. 5.
