Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. A total of 24 beauties battled it out to win the opportunity to represent Nicaragua in the next Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Cosmo competitions. Crowned Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2025 (Miss World Nicaragua) is Virmania Rodríguez who will head to Hyderabad, India this May to compete in the 72nd Miss World. For the Miss International 2025 pageant in Japan, Nicaragua will be represented by newly crowned Miss International Nicaragua 2025 Verónica Iglesias. Marian Rodríguez and Maycrin Jaenz were crowned Miss Cosmo and Miss Supranational Nicaragua 2025, respectively. They will go to Miss Cosmo 2025 in Vietnam and Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland. A total of 20 finalists have been selected to compete for Miss Turkey 2024 following an elimination round held on Wednesday, September 4 in Istanbul. The grand final will take place on September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel and the winners are expected to represent Turkey at the next Miss World and Miss Supranational pageants. No competition was held last year and this year's upcoming final will be the 42nd edition of the annual national pageant. In May, the Miss Turkey Organization headed by Can Sandıkcıoğlu officially announced that it parted ways with the Miss Universe Organization after more than 40 years. Its last representative was Aleyna Şirin who competed in Miss Universe 2022 which was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA in January 2023. Miss Supranational 2024 Harashta Haifa Zahra returned to her home country on Wednesday, July 17 for her homecoming after winning Indonesia's first Miss Supranational crown. The beauty queen was warmly welcomed by fans and supporters upon her arrival at the Bandara Soekarno Hatta International Airport. "I am so happy to be home at last. Harashta Haifa Zahra of Indonesia was crowned Miss Supranational 2024 on Saturday, July 6 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 20-year-old environmental engineering student hailing from West Java bested 67 other contestants to win the international title. She made history as the first-ever Indonesian woman to become Miss Supranational. Jenna Dykstra of the United States was announced first runner-up, while Justýna Zedníková of the Czech Republic, Isadora Murta of Brazil, and Chanelle de Lau of Curacao were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The Miss Supranational 2024 preliminary evaluation show took place on Monday, July 1 in Nowy Sącz, Poland. It was streamed live on the Miss and Mister Supranational official YouTube channel. Sixty-eight supra contestants from around the world walked the runway in their swimsuits and evening gowns. The judges scored them for their confidence and elegance. Forty percent (40%) of their scores will come from tonight's round and will help determine who will make it to the Top 24 to be announced during the final competition on Saturday. The Miss Supranational 2024 Supra Talent Show was held on Saturday, June 29 at the Belmonte Hotel in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. Harashta Haifa Zahra from Indonesia was awarded the winner of the Supra Talent Show. She played a traditional musical instrument from her hometown and beautifully sang a traditional song in Sundanese. The Top 7 were from the Czech Republic, Justýna Zedníková, Denmark, Victoria Larsen, Gibraltar, Phoebe Noble, Japan, Yuki Sonoda, Myanmar, Myo Sandar Win, and the Netherlands, Bo Grooten. The Miss Supranational 2024 Supranational Model of the Year competition was held on Saturday, June 29 at the Belmonte Hotel in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. Over 60 stunning supra contestants in this year's pageant walked to the runway to impress the judges and earn a spot in the semifinals. Five continental winners have been announced and they are Marie-Louise Maitre of Côte d’Ivoire (Africa), Estefanía Ibarra of Bolivia (Americas), Kasama Suetrong of Thailand (Asia & Oceania), and Petra Sivakova of Slovakia (Europe). Rounding out the Top 11 were from Botswana, Leah Barobetse,  Mexico, Andrea Sáenz, Myanmar, Myo Sandar Win, Philippines, Alethea Ambrosio, Poland, Angelika Jurkowianiec, and Puerto Rico, Fiorella Medina. Jenna Dykstra was crowned Miss Supranational United States 2024 in a national competition held last May 25 at the Caribe Royale Orlando in Florida. The 28-year-old model and a certified physician assistant, representing Minnesota, succeeds last year's winner Rylee Spinks. She bested 11 other competitors to win the national title. Jenna is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in health professions and related clinical sciences. In 2022, she also earned her master's in medical science from Nova Southeastern University. The new Miss Supranational United States is now preparing to represent the United States of America at the Miss Supranational 2024 pageant in Poland this coming July.
