Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe travels to Ecuador

Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe arrived in Guayaquil, Ecuador earlier this week as a special guest in the upcoming CNB Ecuador 2022 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) pageant. The Namibian beauty was also part of the panel of judges who are tasked to choose the next Ecuadorian representative at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. "Yesterday was interview day here at [CNB Ecuador] and it was absolutely lovely to get to know the ladies," Chanique shared on her social media account. "I can’t believe the final show is tonight. Namibia's Chanique Rabe is the first-ever woman from her country to be crowned Miss Supranational and the second Namibian to win a major pageant after Miss Universe 1992 Michelle McLean. The 24-year-old edged out 57 other beauties from around the world to win the 12th edition of the international pageant. Miss Supranational 2021 is Namibia's Chanique Rabe

Chanique Rabe of Namibia bested 57 other contestants to win Miss Supranational 2021 on Saturday, August 21 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. The 24-year-old beauty who was born and raised in Windhoek is an ambassador for Hope Village Orphanage and she teaches sewing to children through her own charity project called The Mending Project. Karla Guilfú Acevedo of Puerto Rico and Thato Mosehle of South Africa were the first and second runners-up respectively while Valentina Sánchez of Venezuela was the third runner-up, and Eoanna Constanza of Dominican was fourth runner-up. Shivali Patel (USA), Linda Sibrián (El Salvador), Queenie Benjarat (Thailand), and Jenelle Thongs (Trinidad and Tobago) completed the Top 5 finalists. Following the crucial closed-door interview, the all-important preliminary competition of Miss Supranational 2021 will be held at 1 p.m. CET (Poland time) today. The 58 contestants will be up for another round of pre-judging in swimsuits & evening gowns at the Hotel Beskid in Nowy Sącz. Miss Supranational third runner-up and Miss Universe second runner-up Janick Maceta, and Miss Supranational Caribbean Yaliza Burgos will host the event. Puerto Rico's Karla Guilfu was named Miss Elegance 2021 in a special red carpet event held at the Muszyna City Hall in Małopolska on Friday, August 13. Miss Supranational 2021 contestants enjoy sightseeing in Poland

Over 50 contestants from around the world are currently in Poland competing for the coveted title of Miss Supranational 2021. Following their official sashing ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel in Krakow over the weekend, the contestants were taken to spectacular sightseeing. They visited the historical city of Krakow, the second largest and one of the oldest cities in the host country, and the famous Stacja Narciarska in Jaworzyna Krynicka where they enjoyed the clear views of the Tantra mountains and a thrilling 10-minute cable-car ride. Standouts are the Philippines, Belgium, Namibia, Puerto Rico, Thailand, USA, Indonesia, Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Romania, Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, Czech Republic, India, and Poland. Dindi Pajares of Orani, Bataan has been officially announced as Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 on Saturday, July 24. The 28-year-old international flight attended and Philippine Air Force (PAF) reservist was voted by her fellow Miss World Philippines contestants. Miss World Philippines 2021 was scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 25 at Okada Manila but moved to August 8 due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Natalia Balicka was officially announced as the newly appointed Miss Supranational Poland 2021 on Wednesday, July 7. The 21-year-old medical student from Poznan was first runner-up at Miss Polski 2020 won by Anny-Marii Jaromin. She will represent Poland at the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant to be held this August in Nowy Sącz. Shivali Patel replaces Madeleine Overby as Miss Supranational USA 2020

A 24-year-old beauty of Indian descent from North Carolina, Shivali Patel, was officially announced as the new Miss Supranational USA 2020 on Tuesday, June 15. The e-commerce executive and author assumed the national title after Madeleine Overby made the difficult decision to step down and relinquish her duties. Shivali is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously joined the Miss World America pageant twice and placed as runner-up. She will now prepare to compete for the coveted title of Miss Supranational 2021 this August in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. "When I was five years old, my mum and dad thought it would be a wonderful bonding experience to compete in a pageant. Thailand's representatives for the Miss and Mister Supranational 2021 have been officially announced. A 26-year-old public relations and image management graduate of Bangkok University, Benjarat Akkarawanichsil Aebi, was named Miss Supranational Thailand 2021. She succeeds Anntonia Porsild, who is currently the reigning Miss Supranational. The Mister Supranational Thailand 2021 title was designated to Nipun Kaewruan. He is a 19-year-old athlete and aerospace engineering student at Kasetsart University. Solange Hermoza Rivera was officially named Miss Supranational Peru 2021 last Thursday, May 27. The 26-year-old actress from La Libertad holds a bachelor's degree in business engineering. She was first runner-up during Miss Peru 2020 national competition. Also announced by Miss Peru Organization on its official social media platforms was Mister Supranational Peru 2021 Varo Vargas. Solange and Varo will represent Peru at the Miss Supranational and Mister Supranational 2021 competitions, respectively, in Poland this August. Miss Supranational Venezuela 2021 is Valentina Sánchez

Valentina Sánchez was crowned Miss Supranational Venezuela 2021 in a special competition aired by Globovisión on Thursday, May 27. The 25-year-old radio and TV producer, and international business specialist bested four other finalists to win the national title. Elizabeth Gasiba was named first runner-up while Verónica Dugarte finished as second runner-up. Dreissmar Soto and Nathaly Flores were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Supranational Venezuela is no stranger to pageantry as she won Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2014, placed second runner-up at Miss New Jersey USA 2020, and Top 5 finalist at Miss Venezuela 2020 pageant representing Nueva Esparta. Former Miss Mississippi USA, Madeleine Overby, has been officially announced as Miss Supranational USA 2021. The 23-year-old beauty from Dothan, Alabama is currently a nursing student at Troy University where she plans to graduate with her master's and start a career as a cardiothoracic surgical nurse. Madeleine has appeared on the TV show “America’s Most Talented Kids” and is a former NFL cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints. "It’s always been my dream to compete internationally, and now I am getting that chance," she wrote on social media. "I’m so grateful not only for this opportunity but for the team surrounding me and believing in me to compete at such a high level while letting me show my true self."
