Miss Kentucky USA 2024 is Connor Perry

Miss Heart of Lexington, Connor Perry, was crowned Miss Kentucky USA 2024 on Sunday, May 19 at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset. The 23-year-old neuroscience and dance graduate of the University of Kentucky succeeds last year's winner Madalyne Kinnett. Connor will now prepare to represent Kentucky at Miss USA 2024 this August in California. Miss South Dakota USA 2024 is Ahmitara Alwal

Miss Southern South Dakota, Ahmitara Alwal, bested seven other contestants to win Miss South Dakota USA 2024 on May 12 at the Watertown Events Center. The 25-year-old Winona State University graduate from Sioux Falls will represent South Dakota at Miss USA 2024 this August in Hollywood, California. Ahmitara was crowned by last year's winner, former White House intern Amber Hulse. Miss North Dakota USA 2024 is Codi Miller

Miss Western North Dakota, Codi Miller, was crowned Miss North Dakota USA 2024 last Sunday, May 12 at the Watertown Events Center in Watertown, South Dakota. The 31-year-old former Miss North Dakota Teen USA just broke the records as the oldest woman to have ever won Miss North Dakota USA. Codi was crowned Miss North Dakota Teen USA 2009 and went on to compete in the Miss Teen USA 2009 pageant held in Nassau, The Bahamas. She had to join Miss North Dakota USA many times before finally winning her coveted state title during Sunday's state competition. Hawaii's Savannah Gankiewicz has officially received her sash and crown as the new Miss USA 2023. Her coronation ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 15 at 'Alohilani Resort WaikÄ«kÄ« Beach in Honolulu with the presence of Governor Josh Green. The Miss USA organization recently announced the Maui native as the new titleholder following the resignation of Noelia Voigt to prioritize her mental health. Savannah, who was first runner-up at last year's competition, decided to take over the remaining months of Noelia's reign and is expected to pass her crown at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. Her successor will represent the United States of America at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant to be held in Mexico later this year. "I promise to always be transparent with you and to share my experience. I still believe in the Miss USA organization and its future, and my intention is to make positive changes from within and rebuild its legacy," she wrote on social media. &

Hawaii's Savannah Gankiewicz becomes the new Miss USA

The Miss USA organization has just announced Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii as the new Miss USA following the resignation of Noelia Voigt. According to the official announcement, Savannah will be crowned in her home state of Hawaii in a special coronation ceremony next Wednesday, May 15. The new Miss USA was crowned  Miss Hawaii USA in January last year and went on to participate in Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada last September. She finished as first runner-up. Savannah is of Filipino, Vietnamese, and Polish descent born and raised in Kihei on the island of Maui. She is a model, entrepreneur, and self-love advocate. "My decision to accept the Miss USA crown was not one that was made lightly. I stand with Noelia and admire her strength to step down and prioritize her mental health," she wrote in an official statement. "To the state of Hawaii and my family and friends who have always uplifted me during this journey. it is a privilege to accept this title on behalf of you.

After Miss USA, UmaSofia Srivastava also resigns as Miss Teen USA 2023

After the shocking resignation of Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt, Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava has also announced her decision to relinquish her title. In a statement on social media, she wrote: "After careful consideration, I've decided to resign as I find that my personal values no longer fully align with the direction of the organization." UmaSofia was crowned the 41st Miss Teen USA last September in Reno, Nevada. The first-generation Mexican-Indian American teen represented her home state of New Jersey at the national pageant. While she never expected her reign to end like this, she is looking forward to a meaningful life after Miss Teen USA. Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt officially announced her shocking resignation as titleholder in a post on social media on Monday, May 6. "I realize this may come as a large shock to many. Never compromise your physical and mental well-being. Our health is our wealth," she wrote. "A million thank you's to all of you for your constant and unwavering support. Time to write the next chapter. I hope you’ll stick around to see what's next," she added. The Miss USA organization also released a statement on social media: "We respect and support Noelia’s decision to step down from her duties. The well-being of our titleholders is a top priority, and we understand her need to prioritize herself at this time." Former Miss Oregon Teen USA, Shayla Montgomery, was crowned Miss Oregon USA 2024 on Saturday, May 4 at the Sherwood Center for the Arts in Sherwood, Oregon. The 22-year-old registered nurse, representing Portland, will now prepare to represent the "Beaver State" at Miss USA 2024 this August in Hollywood, California. She succeeds last year's winner, physicist and aspiring astronaut  Manju Bangalore . Miss Delaware USA 2024 is Alysa Bainbridge

Miss Newark, Alysa Bainbridge, was crowned Miss Delaware USA 2024 during the state final on Sunday, April 28 at Laird Performing Arts Center in Wilmington. The 25-year-old public speaker, host, and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent Delaware at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this summer. She succeeds last year's winner Noa Mills. No stranger to pageantry, Alysa was the winner of Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen 2016. In 2022, she became Miss Pennsylvania and went to Miss America 2023 in Connecticut last December. The new Miss Delaware USA was born and raised in Berks County, Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from Saint Joseph's University and a master's in leadership from Cabrini University. Alysa is an adovocate for mental health and recovery. Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan. The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. Alma holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The second lieutenant officer is also a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California.
