Miss Universe Chile 2024 is Emilia Dides of Vitacura
Emilia Dides was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2024 in a national competition held on Sunday, July 7 at Teatro Ceina in Santiago. The 25-year-old talented singer, representing Vitacura, succeeds last year's winner Celeste Viel. She will now prepare to represent Chile at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. Francisca Lavandero of Los Angeles and Ariel Cordero of San Filepe were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were the contestants from La Dehesa, Javiera Israel, and Los Dominicos, Ignacia Fernández. Chile, a country situated along the western seaboard of South America, has won the Miss Universe crown once with Miss Universe 1987 Cecilia Bolocco who became an actress and television host.
