Miss Universe Malta 2024 is Beatrice Njoya of Saint Paul's Bay
Miss Saint Paul's Bay, Beatrice Njoya, bested over 20 other contestants to win Miss Universe Malta 2024 on Thursday, July 11 at the Hilton Malta in St Julian's. The 39-year-old proud mother of three, originally from Cameroon, will represent Malta at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico this November. Beatrice succeeds last year's winner from St. Julian's, Ella Portelli. She made history as the first black African-born, mother, and oldest woman to be crowned Miss Universe Malta. Janie Desira of Zejtun and Julieth Casco of Floriana were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Didi Mizzi of Gharghur, Rachel Portelli of Gozo, and Cody Micaleff of Zebbug completed the Top 6 finalists.
