Italy Johan Mora was crowned Miss Universe Panama 2024 during the national competition held on Saturday, August 3 at the Amador Convention Center in Panama City. The 19-year-old model representing Riviera del Canal won the title in her second attempt at joining the pageant. She only made the Top 7 during last year's competition. Solaris Barba has been officially crowned as Miss Universo Panamá 2022 (Miss Universe Panama) in a special grand coronation event that took place on Friday, September 2 in Panama City. The 23-year-old model, businesswoman, and TV host received her crown from Ricardo Canto, the president of the new Miss Universo Panamá organization. She was appointed last May and the official announcement was made at a special press conference.
