Miss Stowe, Samantha Vocatura was crowned Miss Vermont USA 2024 during the state final held on Sunday, June 9 at The Palace Theatre in Manchester, New Hampshire. The 27-year-old business owner and mental health advocate will represent Vermont at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. She succeeds last year's winner Jenna Howlett. No stranger to pageantry, Samantha previously competed in Miss Massachusetts USA several times. Last March she placed first runner-up to Miss Massachusetts USA 2024 Melissa Sapini. Miss Addison County USA, Jenna Howlett, was crowned Miss Vermont USA 2023 on Saturday, March 25 at the Barre Opera House in Barre City, Vermont. The 20-year-old former Miss Vermont Teen USA is a licensed esthetician, cosmetologist, and founder of Redhead Beauty . She will now represent Vermont at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Miss Williston, Kassidy O'Connell, and Miss Barre, Danielle Trottier (also Miss Congeniality), were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Bennington's Lexia Gillette was awarded Miss Photogenic.
