Amber Koelewijn was crowned Miss World Nederland 2022 (Miss World Netherlands) in a glittering event that took place on Wednesday, September 28 at the De Koning Party & Events in Amsterdam. The 17-year-old all-around beautician from Bunschoten-Spakenburg bested 11 other finalists to win the national competition. Nova Cheyen, 17, from Rotterdam, and Robey Bruins, 21, from Haaksbergen, were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Amber, who advocates against cyberbullying, was also the Talent and Top Model winner. She succeeds Lizzy Dobbe and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 71st Miss World pageant.
