Jan Carrasco was proclaimed Mister Supranational Dominican Republic 2023 on Saturday, April 22 at the Auditorio Patrick N. Hughson in Santo Domingo. The 29-year-old actor and photographer representing Santiago bested 14 other competitors to win the national competition. He succeeded Lewis Echavarria and will now prepare for Mister Supranational 2023 to be held in Poland this July. Alexander Agramonte of Punta Cana was named first runner-up while Luis Angel de la Cruz of Samana, Ledwis Lorenzo Collado of Espaillat, and Jorge Correa of Santo Domingo were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Manu Franco of the Dominican Republic was proclaimed the 14th Mister International on Sunday, October 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines. The 21-year-old actor, model and fitness enthusiast beat 34 other distinctively handsome men from around the world to win his country's first Mister International. Apart from the title, he was also awarded Best in Formal Wear. India's Lukanand Kshetrimayum was named first runner-up while the representatives from Venezuela, Orangel de Jesús Dirinot Guanipa, Hong Kong, Jason Li Kwai Chiu, Philippines, Myron Jude "MJ" Ordillano, and Spain, Juan Pablo Colías González were announced the second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively. Ruddy Batista from Distrito Nacional has been elected as Mister Supranational Dominican Republic 2022 on Friday, January 14 at the Patrick N. Hughson Auditorium in Santo Domingo. The 28-year-old succeeds Ivan Oleaga and will now prepare to represent his  Caribbean country at the Mister Supranational 2022 competition probably later this year in Poland. Miguel Robles and Michael Gómez were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Mister Supranational Dominican Republic holds a master's degree in international business and currently pursuing studies of law, economics, and political science.
