Martín Machiñena of Uruguay wins Mister Tourism World 2022
Martín Machiñena of Uruguay was proclaimed Mister Tourism World 2022 on Saturday, February 4 at La Benue Event Center in Cabanatuan City, Philippines. The 20-year-old model, actor, musician, athlete, and communications student from Montevideo bested over 20 other competitors to win the title. He succeeded the 2021 winner from the Dominican Republic, Jonathan Anotonio Checo. Marcio Ting of Brazil was named first runner-up while Niwat Naknuan of Thailand finished as second runner-up. Rounding out the Top 6 finalists were Ivan Pimentel of the Dominican Republic, Manos Panarketakis of Greece, and Phung Phuoc Thinh of Vietnam.
