The inaugural edition of the Mister Cosmopolitan pageant was held on Sunday, October 8 at The Platform Performing Arts Theatre at Menara KEN TTDI in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Blake Johnston, the representative of the United States of America beat 14 other competitors to clinch the title of Mister Cosmopolitan 2023. He is a model, wrestler, and fitness enthusiast hailing from Colstrip, Montana. Abdul Rahim of Singapore was named first runner-up while Ivan Ignacio of the Philippines, Yothin Romthaisong of Thailand, and Joshua Saunders of Australia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The contestants from Italy, Nicolas Maggi, Korea, Lee Ji Hoon, and Vietnam, Nguyen Thien Kha, rounded out the Top 8 semifinalists. Mister Cosmopolitan was organized by Double Event Management and supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia and Cuti-Cuti Malaysia. New Jersey representative, Keith Williams, was named Mister Supranational United States 2022 at Alex Theatre in Glendale, California on Saturday, May 28. The 31-year-old photographer based in Los Angeles bested 19 other gentlemen to win his national title. He succeeds last year's titleholder, Felix Ray Martin II. "I never once thought about competing in a male pageant before so I can't begin to express how much of an amazing experience this has truly been for me," he shared on social media after the competition. "I'm extremely grateful to have been selected to be a part of this and to have the opportunity to inspire others. The entire team behind the pageant was amazing to work with," he added.
