After an 8-year hiatus, Montenegro will return to the Miss Universe stage with the newly crowned Miss Universe Montenegro 2024 Rumina Ivezaj. The 19-year-old beauty won the national title in a glittering competition held on Saturday, June 8 at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana. "Last night my childhood dream came true and I still can't believe all my hard work and effort paid off. I've grown so much on this journey and it has been filled with joy and unforgettable memories," she wrote online. The new Miss Universe Montenegro was born and raised in Germany. She is a high school graduate but plans to study criminal justice in the future. Montenegro debuted at Miss Universe in 2007 with Snežana Bušković. The Balkan country's last participation was in 2015 with Maja Čukić. The representatives of Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant have been crowned on July 24 in Banja Luka. Ines Radoncic, who recently completed a BA in International Business and Finance at the International University of Sarajevo, was named Miss Earth Bosnia and Herzegovina 2021. Andrijana Nina Delibašić, a law student and a professional model, clinched the Miss Earth Montenegro 2021 title. Ana Brzanova, A 21-year-old financial management student and cancer survivor from Gevgelija, won the title of Miss Earth North Macedonia 2021.
