Sweden's Moa Sandberg will be wearing the majestic national costume designed by Miss Universe Sweden's Creative Director & Official Designer, Aviad Arik Herman. The national costume is a regal tribute to the Kingdom of Sweden's beloved monarchy and in honor of the 70 years of diplomatic relationship between Sweden and Israel as well as the 70th edition of the Miss Universe competition. Moa will compete with over 70 other beauties from around the world during the 70th Miss Universe pageant on December 12 in Eilat, Israel. Moa Sandberg was crowned Miss Universe Sweden 2021 in a national final held on Saturday, October 30 at Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg. The 25-year-old beauty from Stockholm bested 15 other finalists to win her title. She succeeds Lina Ljungberg and will now prepare to represent Sweden at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Lucy Dimitrova and Sofia Sjöberg were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I knew that this weekend would be a life-changing moment for me and the world. The universe was with me the whole time and I am truly forever thankful," Moa shared on her social media account. "My crown is not just a symbol of that I am capable to stand up confidently, it is also proof that I am in alliance with my beliefs. I have a lot to give and this is just the beginning of something even bigger," she added.
