Thailand's Suchata Chuangsri departs for Miss Universe 2024

Miss Universe Thailand 2024 Suchata "Opal" Chuangsri departed Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday night aboard Turkish Airlines to Mexico for Miss Universe 2024. Fans flocked to the Suvarnabhumi International Airport for her departure. Former MUT titleholders Anntonia Porsild and Anna Sueangam-iam were also present to show their support. "Thank you so much everyone for coming, thank you for your love and support. It is truly a dream come true to be wearing Thailand sash across my heart and I promise to raise our flag high," she wrote online. The 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City where over 100 countries will compete for the title. Opal is poised to win Thailand's third Miss Universe crown next to Porntip Nakhirunkanok (Miss Universe 1988) and Apasra Hongsakula (Miss Universe 1965). Miss Grand International 2024: Meet the contestants

Miss Grand International 2024, the 12th edition of the annual Miss Grand International pageant, is underway in Bangkok, Thailand. A total of 71 grand contestants from different countries and territories around the world have arrived in the host country to compete for the coveted golden crown. One of them will be crowned by outgoing queen Luciana Fuster from Peru in the finals this October 25 at the MGI Hall in Bravo BKK Mall. The contestants will have their national costume competition on October 20 while the preliminary competition and the final round for the Grand Voice Award will be held on October 22. Miss Earth Thailand 2024 is Rachadawan Fowler

Rachadawan "Soda" Fowler was crowned Miss Earth Thailand 2024 during the national competition on Sunday, August 18 at the InterContinental Bangkok. The 22-year-old Thai-American beauty beat 15 other finalists to win the title. She will represent Thailand at Miss Earth 2024 whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Nanticha Kasia was named Miss Earth Land while Wantira Prompraphan, Jidapa Charoenpong, and Kanchanok Puttharakchat were Miss Earth Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. Cora Bliault, last year's winner who made the Top 4 at Miss Earth 2023, relinquished her reign at the end of the event. The new Miss Earth Thailand graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nutrition from the University of Surrey in Guildford, England. The Top 16 finalists vying for the title of Miss Earth Thailand 2024 have been officially revealed earlier this week. Headed by Miss Earth Thailand national director Dr. Sirikan Onsonkran, a panel of judges consisting of beauty pageant gurus and influencers in an audition round held in Bangkok. This year's national final will be held on August 18 at the InterContinental Bangkok and will be broadcast live on Thai TV Channel ONE31. The winner of the upcoming competition, to be crowned by reigning Miss Earth Thailand and Miss Earth Fire 2023 Cora Bliault, will represent "The Land of Smiles" at Miss Earth 2024. Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2024 following a spectacular competition held on Sunday, July 14 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok. The 20-year-old beauty from Bangkok beat 39 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. Surisa Suzana Renaud of Phuket was announced as the first runner-up while Karnruethai Tassabut of Ubon Ratchathani finished as the second runner-up. The representatives of Maha Sarakham, Boonyisa Chantrarachai, and Samut Songkhram, Maitai Suriyayunyong were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The Miss Universe Thailand 2024 final competition will be held tonight at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok. A new Mouawad crown has been unveiled for Miss Universe Thailand 2024 during the "Ignite the Night" event on Thursday, June 20 at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit. The unveiling event was attended by reigning Miss Universe Thailand and Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild and the contestants who are vying for this year's coveted national title. Also present were Fred Mouawad, the crown sponsor for the fifth consecutive year, and TPN Global's Piyaporn Pui Sankosik, the national director of Miss Universe Thailand. Kevin Dasom from Thailand was proclaimed the 22nd Manhunt International on Sunday, May 26 at Ayutthaya City Park in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand. The 32-year-old Thai-Irish model and basketball player from Chiang Mai triumphed over 36 other contestants to become the first-ever Manhunt International winner from Thailand. Lucas Schlachter from France was named first runner-up while the representatives from the Philippines, Kenneth Stromsnes, Venezuela, Victor Battista, and Italy, Vincenzo Melisi were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
