Stephany Andujar was crowned Miss Universe US Virgin Islands 2024 last Sunday, August 18 at the Antilles Mark C. Marin Center in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. The 28-year-old esthetician from St. Thomas will represent the United States Virgin Islands at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico this November. "This is such an emotional, challenging, and humbling experience to be allowed to represent the United States Virgin Islands on an international scale," she wrote online. "Being that this was my first pageant ever, I am so in shock, but I would have never accomplished this alone, my team, my coaches, my family, my friends are the reason this moment came to pass," she added. The United States Virgin Islands last joined the Miss Universe pageant in 2019 with Andrea Piecuch. Since its debut in 1961, the Caribbean islands' highest placement at Miss Universe was achieved in 1971 when Cherrie Raphaelia Creque made the Top 12. Meet the new Miss Univers
