Selene Delgado, Jorge Eduardo Núñez, and Ismelys Velasquez were named winners during the Miss and Mister Supranational Venezuela 2022 competition which was held on Thursday, June 9 at Junín Theater in Caracas. A 26-year-old businesswoman from Guatire, Selene Delgado, was crowned Miss Supranational Venezuela 2023. She will represent Venezuela at Miss Supranational 2023. The title of Mister Supranational Venezuela 2022 went to Jorge Eduardo Núñez, a 24-years-old civil engineer and fitness athlete who competed in Mr World 2019. He will be sent to Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. For Miss Supranational 2022, also in Poland this July, the national organization designated Ismelys Velasquez as representative. The 22-year-old model and international studies student is no stranger to pageantry. Over 20 beauties have already been confirmed as representatives of their respective countries and territories for the 71st Miss World edition. The final competition and official venue of the prestigious pageant are yet to be announced by the Miss World Organization. Meet the delegates from the Dominican Republic, USA, and Venezuela: Nieves Marcano, 25 years old, is the winner of the Miss Earth Dominican Republic 2021 pageant, and the Caribbean nation’s representative to Miss Earth 2022. She is a model, interior designer, actor, and host. The 2022 Miss Earth USA title was awarded to Natalia Salmon, an Asset Services Intern. The 50th Reinado Internacional del Café pageant was held on Saturday, January 8 at the Centro Cultural y de Convenciones Teatro los Fundadores in Manizales, Colombia. Venezuela's Ismelys Velásquez bested over 20 other participants to succeed Iris Yazminhe Guerra of El Salvador and became the fifth Venezuelan representative to win the beauty title. Maria Eduarda Valotto of Brazil was named Virreina Internacional del Café 2022 while Mariana Loaiza Cifuentes of Colombia, Luciana Martínez Cienfuegos of El Salvador, and Rebecca Linn Stoughton of the United States were the first, second, and third princesses, respectively. The newly crowned Reinado Internacional del Café 2022 is a 22-year-old model and a student of international relations at Universidad Central de Venezuela. After a busy couple of weeks interviewing each contestant in this year's Miss World Head to Head Challenge and the public votes have been tallied, the winners were finally revealed on Thursday, December 9 at the Capitolio De Puerto Rico in San Juan. The winners are contestants from Botswana , Palesa Mofele, Cameroon , Audrey Monkam, Cote D'Ivoire , Olivia Yacé, Nepal , Namrata Shrestha, Nicaragua , Sheynnis Palacios, Paraguay , Bethania Borba, Philippines , Tracy Perez, and Venezuela , Alejandra Conde. Miss World Cayman Islands, Colombia, Haiti, Indonesia, Mexico, Mongolia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vietnam were the rest of the Top 16. Miss Región Andina, Amanda Dudamel, bested 17 other beauties to win the glittering Miss Venezuela 2021 competition held on Thursday, October 28 in Caracas. The 21-year-old model, tennis player, and fashion designer is the daughter of former national soccer team goalkeeper and coach, Rafael Dudamel. She was crowned by last year's winner, Mariángel Villasmil, and will now prepare to represent Venezuela at Miss Universe 2022. Miss Cojedes, Ariagny Daboín, was named Miss Venezuela World 2021. The 24-year-old clinical psychologist succeeds Alejandra Conde and will be sent to the Miss World 2022 pageant. Two new Miss Earth Venezuela titleholders were announced in a special event held at Globovisión studio in Caracas on Friday, October 15. A 28-year-old model, anthropologist, and veterinary assistant, María Daniela Velasco, was named Miss Earth Venezuela 2021 while a 24-year-old dentistry student, Elizabeth Gasiba, took home the Miss Earth Venezuela 2022 title. The newly-crowned beauties will represent Venezuela at Miss Earth 2021 and Miss Earth 2022 pageants, respectively. Miss Earth Venezuela and Miss Earth Air 2020, Stephany Zreik, relinquished her reign at the end of the show which was hosted by Melisa Rauseo, Alejandro Carreño, and Ronald Sanoja. The reigning Miss Earth queens were invited to visit Greece from September 29 to October 2 for a series of activities with the Star GS Hellas pageant. Besides gracing the coronation night of the Greek national pageant, Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey from the USA and Miss Earth Air 2020 Stephany Zreik from Venezuela also enjoyed sightseeing around the beautiful southeastern European country. Greece is known for its ancient history and magnificent temples, and it's often called the cradle of Western civilization. It is also the birthplace of democracy and the Olympic Games. Miranda representative and Miss Venezuela 2020 Top 5 finalist, Luiseth Materán, has been officially announced as Miss Universo Venezuela 2021 on Friday, July 2 in Caracas. The 24-year-old social communication graduate is a model and actress. She is currently filming "Intriga tras cámara" television series that will premiere on Televen, in which she will play the leading character. Luiseth will represent Venezuela at the 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. Andrea Romero has been officially named by Osmel Sousa as Reina Hispanoamericana Venezuela 2021 on Tuesday, June 1. The 24-year-old professional model holds a bachelor's degree in international studies. She was first runner-up in the first season of the czar of beauty's El Concurso. "Thankful to God for being present in these wonderful achievements of my life, I can't stop crying because of the emotion I feel," Andrea shared online. "This is such a great responsibility to be Venezuela before the world. This achievement also belongs to my family, friends, and all those people who have always supported me," she added. William Badell was named Mister Supranational Venezuela 2021 in a special competition aired by Globovisión on Thursday, May 27. The 24-year-old model, cabin crew, and social communication student edged out four other finalists to win his title. "Yesterday was an unforgettable night that will always remain in my mind and my heart. I love my new family very much," he shared on social media. Valentina Sánchez was crowned Miss Supranational Venezuela 2021 in a special competition aired by Globovisión on Thursday, May 27. The 25-year-old radio and TV producer, and international business specialist bested four other finalists to win the national title. Elizabeth Gasiba was named first runner-up while Verónica Dugarte finished as second runner-up. Dreissmar Soto and Nathaly Flores were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Supranational Venezuela is no stranger to pageantry as she won Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2014, placed second runner-up at Miss New Jersey USA 2020, and Top 5 finalist at Miss Venezuela 2020 pageant representing Nueva Esparta.
