Brandina Lubuli was crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2024 on Sunday, September 15 at EastPark Mall's The Music Club in Lusaka. The 28-year-old women and children's rights advocate will now prepare to represent Zambia at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Sheila Singelengele and Wana Kasochi were the first and second runners-up, respectively. This year's national competition marked the return of Zambia to the Miss Universe stage. The country's last participation was in 2018 with Melba Shakabozha. "Miss Universe Zambia will give me a bigger platform to amplify the voices of women and girls across our nation Zambia. Natasha-Joan Mapulanga bested eight other finalists to be crowned Miss Zambia 2021/22 on Saturday, June 11 at Best Western Plus Lusaka Hotel. The 25-year-old international relations and development analyst hails from Lusaka. She succeeds Vanessa Ukevwe Chinyemba and is expected to represent her country at the Miss World pageant.
