Miss Tenerife, Corina Mrazek bested 51 other beauties to win Miss World Spain 2023 last Saturday, May 6 in Los Realejos. The 22-year-old cabin crew will represent Spain at Miss World 2024. She succeeds last year's winner from Valencia, Paula Pérez, who will go to the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2023) in India. "Dreams do come true, I'm sure of that. Following rounds of casting, a total of 32 finalists from 16 Polish provinces have been chosen to compete for the title of Miss Polski 2023 (Miss Poland 2023). They will undergo training and preparations leading up to the national final on July 16 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska. Aleksandra Klepaczka, last year's winner who participated in Miss Universe 2022 and will soon take part in Miss Supranational 2023, will crown her successor at the end of the event. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska arrived in Cape Town, South Africa this week with Miss World CEO Julia Morley for a 6-day visit to the rainbow nation. In addition to humanitarian purposes, their official visit also includes the launch of the new Miss World South franchise under Carol Bouwer Productions.  According to Miss World, the new license holder has a long history with the organization having presented the MNET coverage of Miss World 1994 at Sun City. Dane County representative Alexis Loomans was crowned Miss Wisconsin USA 2023 during the state final held on Sunday, May 7 at the Fond du Lac Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old native of Waunakee is an ambassador for Jovani Fashions and currently pursuing a degree in political science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Not new to pageantry, Alexis is a former Miss Wisconsin Teen USA titleholder. She now succeeded last year's winner Hollis Brown and will now prepare to represent Wisconsin at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Filipino-American R'Bonney Gabriel arrived to a warm welcome in the Philippines on Wednesday, May 10 for her first visit to the country as reigning Miss Universe.
