Miss Grand South Africa 2023 is Gugulethu Mayisela

Gugulethu Mayisela was crowned Miss Grand South Africa 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 22 at the Atterbury Theatre in Pretoria. The 19-year-old model from Johannesburg bested 23 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner LuJuan Mzyk and will now prepare to represent South Africa at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October. "What an honour. I am so proud to say that I am the first black woman to ever represent South Africa at Miss Grand International," she shared online. Thulani Luyanda Ndzotyana was named first runner-up while Joey Roman, Robyn Hill, and Monique Best were announced as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera returns home to Ecuador

Andrea Aguilera touched down in Ecuador on Monday, July 24 for her homecoming since winning the 14th Miss Supranational pageant in Poland. The 22-year-old received a warm welcome from her supporters at the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport. She then hopped on a red sports car for her victory parade through the streets of Guayaquil. Following her arrival, an official press conference was hosted for her homecoming at Courtyard by Marriott Guayaquil. "I want to say thank you to everyone who sent me words of kindness and support. It's teamwork and you are my team. Without you, I probably would not be standing here today, feeling so happy and excited," she shared. Andrea was crowned Miss Supranational 2023 from a field of 65 competitors last July 14 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sącz, in the Polish region of Małopolska. Nikki de Moura receives homecoming welcome in Cagayan de Oro City

Newly crowned Miss Grand Philippines 2023 Nikki de Moura returned to a warm homecoming welcome in Cagayan de Oro City. A grand motorcade around the "City of Golden Friendship" was held on Monday, July 24 as well as courtesy calls with the city officials. Later that day, an official homecoming press conference was held for the 19-year-old model on the ground floor of the SM CDO Downtown Premier. Nikki won Miss Grand Philippines 2023 from a field of 30 competitors at the national pageant last July 13 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The Filipino-Brazilian beauty now prepares to represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam this October. Makaʻala Perry to represent Hawaii at Miss International 2023

Makaʻala Perry is the newly appointed Miss International Hawaii 2023 and will represent the Aloha State at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. The 24-year-old flight attendant, business owner, and musician was announced as Priscilla Wang's successor for the national title last month. Besides working for Hawaiian Airlines and running her own business called Sunbeams Creamery, a dessert shop located in Wahiawa, she is also pursuing her bachelor of arts degree in music at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. As a musician and hula dancer, she performs regularly doing seasonal shows at the Four Seasons Ko’olina and travels to Japan, Canada, and Taiwan sharing her love of music and dance. Born and raised on the island of Oʻahu, Makaʻala is passionate about preserving the arts and perpetuating Hawaiian culture. Miss Angola Diáspora, Ana Bárbara Da Silva Coimbra, was crowned Miss Angola Universo 2023 (Miss Universe Angola 2023) on Saturday, July 22 at the Hotel de Convenções de Talatona - HCTA in Luanda. The 23-year-old model and project manager who holds a bachelor's degree in economics will now prepare to represent Angola at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador. Tatiana Manuel of Bengo and Eliane Cavelho of Namibe were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Fernanda Trombeta of Cunene and Jumara Sebastião of Huambo were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Miss Universe Laos 2023 is Phaimany Lathsabanthao

Phaimany Lathsabanthao bested 14 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe Laos 2023 on Sunday, July 23 at the National Convention Hall in Vientiane. The 28-year-old beauty representing Phongsaly is a business administration graduate of the National University of Laos. She will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2023 to be held in El Salvador. Phiranya Thipphomvong of Houaphanh and Phavina Mounvongsa of Bolikhamxai were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Deth Xaivanhsee of Oudomxay, Budseng Vongchanthum of Vientiane, and Vaniphone Phoumixay of Vientiane Prefecture rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 has officially kicked off with the arrival of the finalists for their boot camp week in Jakarta. The first day of their activities took place at the Sari Pacific Jakarta where they participated in a psychotest with Jakarta-based professional psychology service provider Personal Growth. Thirty competitors from across the country will fight for the "Shimmering Hope" crown and the opportunity to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.
