Miss Universe Thailand 2023 is Anntonia Porsild of Nakhon Ratchasima

Anntonia Porsild bested over 50 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2023 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, August 20 at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. The 26-year-old Thai-Danish model representing Nakhon Ratchasima succeeds last year's winner Anna Sueangam-iam and will now prepare to represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Kirana Jasmine Chewter of Mae Hong Son was named first runner-up while Praveenar Singh Thakral of Phuket finished as the second runner-up. Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat of Prachuap Khiri Khan and Nicha Poonpoka of Lamphun. They were announced as the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Universe Thailand is no stranger to pageantry, having won Miss Supranational Thailand 2019 and went on to bag her country's first Miss Supranational crown in Katowice, Poland. The Miss Universe Thailand 2023 final competition is taking place tonight at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. One of the 53 contestants vying for the coveted title will walk away with an opportunity to represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2023 this November in El Salvador. Miss Universe Canada 2023 is Madison Kvaltin

Former Miss International Canada, Madison Kvaltin, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, August 19 at The Show Theatre at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. The 25-year-old Northern Ontario-born entrepreneur with a degree in sociology and business from Queen's University will now prepare to represent Canada at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Jessica Bailey was named first runner-up while Melanie Renaud, Kim Hoang Do, and Dominique Doucette were announced as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Phoem Sreyno bested 24 other competitors to be crowned Miss Grand Cambodia 2023 on Saturday, August 19 at Koh Pich Theater in Phnom Penh. The 25-year-old beauty from the Cambodian capital city will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Grand Internationa 2023 to be held in Vietnam this October. Anna Koy of Kratiรฉ was named first runner-up while Leakena In of Pailin, Sreynit Sou of Kampong Thom, and Men Nong Nith of Preah Sihanouk were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The Miss Universe Thailand 2023 national costume competition was held on Saturday, August 19 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. It was the last major event of this year's pageant prior to the highly anticipated final and coronation night this coming Sunday. Each of the fifty-three contestants showcased their beautiful costumes that were inspired by traditional Thai clothing. They were not only aesthetically pleasing but also reflects the essence of Thai culture, history, and traditions. Five special awards were handed out — the Traditional Textile, Cultural Textile, Innovative Textile, Sustainable Textile, and Thai Royally Bestowed Textile awards and the recipients were MUT Phitsanulok, Krongthong Chantarasompoch, MUT Maha Sarakham, Chanya Tonngam, MUT Kanchanaburi, Katrina Lalita Kostrukoff, MUT Songkhla, Sajee Kantayos, and MUT Phuket, Praveenar Singh Thakral, respectively. Jasmine Stringer bested over 30 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Australia 2023 in a glittering competition held on Friday, August 18 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 26-year-old Gold Coast-born primary school teacher will now represent Australia at Miss World 2024. She succeeds last year's winner Kristen Wright who will travel to Mumbai, India for Miss World 2023 later this year. Gabriella Oxley was named first runner-up while Jennifer Sochima, Chloe Hardy, and Jennifer Kim were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss World Australia previously participated in the Miss Universe Australia 2021 pageant where she finished as the second runner-up.
