The 25-year-old model and aspiring firefighter from La Mudarra, Valladolid represented his province during Mister RNB España 2021 and bagged the title Mister RNB España Internacional 2022. Sheris Paul was crowned Miss Universe Saint Lucia 2022 on Saturday, August 27 at the Harbor Club Hilton in Gros Islet. The 27-year-old beauty from Morne Dudon, Castries, bested four extremely talented and beautiful young queens to win her title. Qin Zewen has been announced the new Miss World China and will represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant. The 25-year-old former Essence Securities employee replaces Ruan Yue, who was stripped of her title due to "accusations of misconduct violating the Miss World's purpose." Qin's appointment as the new titleholder sparked an online controversy because she was chosen instead of the runners-up, and when you thought things couldn't get any worse, her educational qualification and employment background were also questioned. Laysha Anaili Salazar Ocejo was officially announced as Miss Grand Mexico 2022 in a special ceremony held on Thursday, August 25 at the Victoria Hall of the Los Lagos Country Club in Hermosillo. The 19-year-old beauty hails from the city of Hermosillo, in the center of the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. She is pursuing a degree in entertainment business management.
